Breakfast Sausage Categories: poultry, low fat, breakfast, turkey, sausage 1 pound coarse-ground turkey 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs 2 tablespoons chopped onion 1 tablespoon chopped parsley 1 teaspoon vegetable oil 1/2 teaspoon sage 1/4 teaspoon thyme 1/8 teaspoon black and red pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 egg white Combine all ingredients except egg white. Gently beat egg white with a fork and add to meat mixture. Mix well. Shape into 12 patties. Cook in a non-stick skillet until done, or it may be broiled approximately four minutes on each side. This recipe yields 6 servings, with two patties per serving.
