Healthy-For-You Turkey Chili Categories: main dish, poultry, low fat, turkey 2 cups chopped cooked turkey 1 garlic clove; minced 1 medium onion; chopped 1 sweet green pepper; chopped 1 onion; quartered 1 green pepper; sliced into strips 1 can red kidney beans - (17 oz) 1 can tomato paste - (6 oz) 1 can tomatoes - (28 oz) 1 bay leaf 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds Combine the turkey, garlic, onion, and green pepper in a nonstick skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are soft. Add the remaining ingredients and cover. Simmer over low heat for 30 to 60 minutes, or until the flavors are blended. This recipe yields 4 servings.
