Hoppin' Jalapenos! Categories: appetizers, low fat 12 fresh whole jalapeņo peppers 3 ounces low-fat cream cheese; room temperature 1/2 cup fine-shredded low-fat sharp Cheddar 1/4 cup finely-chopped green onions Carefully cut each jalapeņo lengthwise. Under running water, rinse out the seeds and remove the stems and veins. In a small mixing bowl, mix cheeses and onions. Use a small spoon to stuff each jalapeņo half with the cheese mixture. Bake the peppers in a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese melts. This recipe yields 12 servings..
