Roasted Salmon With Maple Glaze Categories: main dish, low fat, seafood, fish (ocean) 3 pounds salmon fillet 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 garlic clove 1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt Freshly-cracked black pepper 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar Mint or parsley; chopped, (optional) Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Pat salmon dry. Place skin-side down onto baking sheet that has been sprayed generously with non-stick spray. Brush fish with maple syrup. Bake about 10 minutes; brush again with maple syrup. Bake another five minutes. Continue to baste and bake until fish flakes easily. Serve with salt and cracked black pepper. Top with remaining syrup. This recipe yields 6 servings.
