Seasonal Fruit Palatte Categories: desserts, fruits, low fat 1 peach; sliced 1 pear; sliced 1 plum; sliced 1 kiwi; sliced 1 star fruit; sliced Cinnamon and sugar mix; for sprinkling === SAUCE === 2 cups unsweetened frozen strawberries; thawed 1/2 cup powdered sugar Combine the strawberries and powdered sugar in a food processor or blender. Pulse until smooth. Pour onto chilled dessert plates (with rim). Arrange the sliced fruit on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Serve immediately. This recipe yields 4 generous servings. Comments: Other fruits may be substituted: apples, nectarines, grapes, apricots. Can also garnish with mint leaves. Star fruit makes this dessert festive looking. Because the portions are generous, diabetics may want to eat one-half serving.
